This tube is an inexpensive framegrid single triode with a 600mA heater, large mu of 75 and large gm of 15mA/V. A special shield between Anode and grid reduces the Miller capasity to awesome 0.29pF, so its the perfect RF tube!
Furthermore, it might be suitable for gain control circuits, when it is about 2.5 decades of gm control range, or less.
